Five major venture capital funds have recommended that their portfolio organizations redeem deposits at Silicon Valley Bank. The bank is trying unsuccessfully to reassure investors after the parent company's stock price sagged more than 60 percent.
Among the organizations mentioned are Pantera Capital, Mechanism Capital, Eden Block and Founders Fund. Several other major venture capitalists have said they will be watching the situation closely.
