US suggests EU to apply experience of sanctions against Russia in its fight against China - Bloomberg

The White House is "exploring the possibility of using some elements of similar information exchange and coordination in implementing measures to strengthen restrictions" of the U.S. and the EU against exports to China.

However, the publication states that the EU is not inclined to explore the same approach to the PRC as to Russia. But the sources did not rule out a ban on exports of products that can be used for military purposes.
