"The bank notified about the closure of accounts from June 27, but in fact the last transfers were made yesterday. As of today it is not accepting payments," said a top manager of one of the counterparty banks.
Because of Uralsib's decision many small banks may suspend foreign currency transactions for clients. In particular, one of the largest private brokers, Finam, was forced to do so.
