The largest share in the harvest is made up by wheat - 102.7 million tons, which is 4.1% more than a year ago. The yield of sugar beet, rape and potatoes increased as well.
The Ministry of Agriculture notes that due to weather conditions, some regions are behind the last year in terms of harvesting. The agency also raised the important issue of replacing imported equipment and seed stock for next year.
