The Safemoon team has reported that one of the service's liquidity pools has been compromised. The reason could be a leak of the admin key. The estimated damage is $8.9 million.
Hours later, the hackers left a message in the transaction stating that the hack was "accidental" and they were ready to return the funds.
The attackers have already recovered 4,000 BNB ($1.2m), PeckShield confirms.
