The company said Friday that it is considering spinning off its electric car business in the second half of 2023. Renault has not ruled out the possibility of listing part of the company.
The French automaker is looking to catch up with rivals such as Tesla and Volkswagen in the electric car race. In February, Ford also reported on a possible spin-off of its electric car business.
