OpenSea suspected of blocking accounts due to Tornado Cash transactions
User "Althea Mariz N" received an OpenSea account lockout notice due to actions violating the platform's terms of service.
He said that he had not purchased NFT or logged into the marketplace for several months.
The support team explained the blocking as a violation of US government and OFAC sanctions. However, the user did not find himself on the SDN sanctions list. After a detailed analysis, he found out that his account could have been blocked due to his use of the Tornado Cash service.
