North Korean hackers broke a record for stolen cryptocurrency in 2022, according to their latest UN report. According to various estimates, they stole between $630 million and $1.7 billion.
"The difference in estimates probably arose because of the change in the value of cryptocurrency in dollars. But both reports show that 2022 was a record year for virtual asset theft by the DPRK," the UN summarized.
