Moldova is experiencing an energy crisis due to rising energy prices. Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Spinu said that the authorities intend to reduce gas consumption in winter by at least 15%.
According to the proposed plan, the country can turn off the street lights, reduce the temperature of central heating, as well as transfer schools and universities to distance learning.
Residents of the Netherlands are also stocking up on firewood for winter.
