Heatbit has shared the news of creating heaters that can mine bitcoin, thereby covering the cost of electricity.
The device is capable of heating a 500-square-foot area, and it can earn about $30 per month at a BTC price of $20,000. So far, more than 1,000 devices have been sold worldwide.
Project co-founder Alex Busarov also thought about creating heated toilets that would mine cryptocurrency, but eventually decided to improve the crypto-heater.
