FTX's new management filed a lawsuit against the Bahamas division and their liquidators. They want to sue for ownership of crypto assets.
The plaintiffs accuse Bahamian firm FTX Digital Markets of "fraud" and misappropriation of assets.
"FTX Digital Markets proclaims its ownership of the exchange. In reality, they were a front to defraud customers," the statement reads.
According to American FTX, they are the ones who have the right to claim cryptocurrency funds from the Bahamian subsidiary.
