The French National Assembly this week approved a bill with stricter licensing conditions for cryptocurrency companies. It must now be approved by President Emmanuel Macron.
There were 109 votes (60.5%) in favour of the bill, with 71 against. The president has 15 days to fully study the initiative and then approve it or send it back for revision.
