Singapore is buzzing with excitement as DBS/POSB launches a rewarding initiative just in time for SG60. Who wouldn’t want to enjoy their delicious hawker fare with a side of savings? Starting July 12, the beloved DBS PayLah! app is offering cashback for transactions every Saturday. It’s a delightful way to commemorate Singapore’s 60th birthday while supporting our cherished local vendors.
A Summer of Savings Awaits
From July 12 to September 27, every Saturday promises a rewarding experience for the first 160,000 users who scan and pay with PayLah at over 22,000 participating hawker stalls, wet markets, and heartland shops. With the opportunity to receive up to $3 cashback, it’s more than just a transaction—it’s a community celebration.
Participating outlets are easy to spot with their POSB Support Our Heartland Shops tags and PayLah Scan to Pay stickers. Making such recognitions not only convenient but also a part of the cultural fabric of our shopping neighborhoods.
Extending Benefits Beyond Cashback
But the rewards don’t end there. From July 1 to September 30, POSB debit and credit card members can indulge in 60-cent meal deals at selected food and beverage outlets. And for a limited time, fast-food enthusiasts can grab $6 set meals at KFC.
From August 1, the new DBS Rewards Flexi eVouchers will further expand the benefits. Redeemable through the PayLah app, card members can bring their DBS Points and POSB Daily\( to life with eVouchers, earning an additional \)60 cashback by converting 6,000 DBS Points during the promotional period.
Enhancing Everyday Moments
“We are grateful for our customers’ steadfast support over the years,” expressed Mr. Lim Him Chuan, Singapore country head at DBS. According to The Straits Times, DBS continues to foster community bonds and drive growth in heartland areas, as proven by increased earnings among local merchants and satisfaction among users.
Marina Bay Enchantment
Come September, Marina Bay will offer mesmerizing sunset sail rides every Friday evening, showcasing the stunning city skyline. These free experiences add to existing day sailing sessions. Singapore’s rich cultural tapestry is further celebrated every weekend at the DBS Foundation Outdoor Theatre at the Esplanade with vibrant displays of local arts.
Building on Community Spirit
DBS/POSB is steadfast in its engagement efforts through the year, focusing on local empowerment and financial literacy. The initiative ensures digital and anti-scam education’s availability, all the while revitalizing neighborhoods with engaging activities like digital literacy carnivals and getai roadshows.
