The Biden administration has announced that it will launch a new legal framework for cryptocurrencies soon.
"2022 has been a difficult year for the cryptocurrency market. The regulatory framework aims to ensure that digital assets cannot undermine US financial stability," the White House said in a statement.
Such a move is made in order to combat crypto-fraud, which has spread significantly in the past year and caused enormous damage.
