The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has pledged an impressive US$150 million to aid Bangladesh in revolutionizing its technical education system, a move hailed as a critical milestone towards creating a skilled nation. Particularly, this ADB-funded project will spotlight teachers stationed beyond the bustling capital, bringing first-rate training to those who have often been sidelined.

Infrastructure Investments

To make this vision a reality, the program plans to establish two brand-new TVET Teacher Training Colleges (TTTCs) in Chattogram and Khulna. Simultaneously, existing institutes in Dhaka and Bogura will be expanded and modernized, alongside enhancing facilities within seven polytechnics. A novel 4IR training center will also be erected in Dhaka, promising a gateway to cutting-edge skills and knowledge.
