Automatic data backups on Apple devices can increase the risk of hacking. The manufacturer recommended that users disable such data backups.
If attackers gain illegal access to sensitive data uploaded to iCloud, they could steal a MetaMask user's cryptocurrency. The warning was published on the project's Twitter a few days after a MetaMask user lost NFT and $655,000 worth of cryptocurrency after an iCloud hack.
